   Confirmation is the focus of the 6th grade year at First United Methodist
Church.  This is a special time to begin a journey of faith that nurtures and
challenges preteens to think about the nature of God, the life of Christ,
and learn about the Methodist beliefs.

     The confirmation classes offer each child an opportunity to confirm
their baptism and join the church as full members.  Families are involved
in retreats, field trips, and service projects as part of the confirmation
activities.

      Our Confirmation class is led by Doak and Karen Howarton.
Confirmation Sunday is May 4th.
